These moderate one-day runs down the Urubamba River through the Sacred Valley of the Incas combine mild rapids, snow-capped peaks, native Quechua communities and riverside Inca ruins. These trips can easily be added as an extension to our other programs.
Itinerary
Andina Travel follows: travel to machu picchu, machu picchu trek, treks peru, ausangate treks, trekking machu picchu, Choquequirao treks, inca trail and numerous archeological sites along the way, including the marvelous Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
HUAMBUTIO OR CUSIPATA SECTION
CLASSIFICATION:
January – March: Rainy season; river can reach Class III level.
April – December: Class I and II, ideal for beginners, school groups, and families.
