Rainbow Mountain Cusco

Pick up 3:00am to 4:00 a.m. daily – Return time 7:00 p.m.

You are picked up directly from their hotels (usually they are indicated a more accurate time to not be awake an hour and a half) then leaving at approximately 4:45 in Cusco finishing collecting the entire group we are traveling for 3 hours towards the beginning of the mountain of Colors where we will have a breakfast buffet where we will eat very well to be able to be prepared for the 3 hours walk.

Beginning the trek, we will have 3 hours of slight ascent to arrive with calm and without problems where the guide in these 3 hours will explain you about the Ausangate Zone where we will see the highest snow peaks in the distance and communities and different animals of the area. Arriving at the mountain of colors, we will have an explanation of 20 minutes and about 40 minutes where we can visit on our own and take the souvenir photos. Finishing this we are back in 3 hours downhill where arriving at the beginning we will be taking our lunch and ending this we are back in Cusco on the bus to finish our 1 day trek.

Rainbow Mountain Cusco is a true High Andean Challenge, on this trip will pass by herds of alpacas, apachetas, and traditional stone and adobe houses with thatched roofs. In the high mountain district of Cordillera Vilcanota people wear traditional clothes and speak Qechua.
